Piano Tuning & Repair - Background

After attending Kent State university in the 1970's as a music major, Mark went on to The Perkins School of Piano Tuning and Technology in Cleveland, Ohio. He began working as a full-time Piano Technician in 1979. While working for a Steinway and Yamaha dealer, he had the good fortune of receiving training from the Steinway Factory and Concert Department in Manhattan as well as Yamaha in California where he learned the skills needed to work on fine pianos. Continuing education included many Piano Technician Guild conventions and earning his Craftsman Guild certification.
